Margins Buddy allows you calculate and adjust your profit margins with ease. Great for people in sales related positions and for small businesses. Simply enter two of the four fields and Margins Buddy will instantly work out the remaining values. Want to make an adjustment? Simply change one of the values and the results are shown immediately.

Late one evening we received an email enquiring as to whether Percent Buddy would handle the Canadian Tax calculations.  The following day we did some research, and although we found a work around, Percent Buddy was not really up to the job. After some more research and communitcaion with Michael we decided to make a seperate app dedicated to performing  Canadian tax calculations.  The result ….. Canada Tax.

It pretty much does what it says on the tin, it performs inclusive and exclusive tax calculations for all canadian provinces and territories including GST, PST, QST and HST (if that means nothing to you – you don’t need it).

Today we finally released Canada Tax to the appstore for review.  Fingers crossed for a quick release.

VAT & Tax Buddies are now available for purchase on the appstore priced at just £0.59p each. 

VAT/Tax Buddy is part of the ‘Percent Buddy’ suit and with user definable rates, the VAT / Tax Buddy helps you quickly and simply perform tax related calculations. Just enter the inclusive or exclusive amount, choose the rate and press calculate – the results are shown instantly.

V AT / Tax Buddy even remembers the rate you last used making it even quicker to make further calculations.

Percentages is now available for purchase in the appstore for just £0.59p. 

Although a simple program we find also a very useful one. Admit it, when it comes to percentages who can remember the formulas let alone work them out in their heads? Thats were Percentages comes in – Quick – Simple – Intuitive.

Percentages allows you to perform percent related calculations such as:

• Find the percentage of a number (i.e. what is 30% of 250)
• Find the part percent of a whole (i.e. what percent of 200 is 40)
• Find the percent change between one value and another
• Increase or decrease a number by a percentage (i.e. deduct 15% from 149)

Percentages is also included as part of the Percent Buddy Suite of tools.

Just to give you a taste of the Percent Buddy modules, we are offering Tip Buddy for FREE. This was submitted to the app store earlier today so stay tuned, it should be available within a week or so.

If you like Tip Buddy, the other modules are now also available seperately.

Today we have submitted five apps to the app store: VAT Buddy, Tax Buddy, Margins Buddy, Tip Buddy and Percentage. These are all of the individual modules of the Percent Buddy Suite so you can pick and choose which modules you would like installed on your iPhone.

To our delight Percent Buddy has entered the top one hundred in the UK business category. We entered at position 79!

We received a very exciting email from Apple very late last night (23:45 to be exact) telling us that Percent Buddy was available for sale in the App Store.

We were totally astonished at how quickly Apple had turned this around as it was only submitted to them late on the 27th August so well done Apple.
